BDR Mentality

🔥 BDR’s are warriors because of their mentality.
They create opportunities where none existed before.
More salespeople need that mentality. 👇

As the new guy selling at Cisco Systems:
→ I was handed a deck of dormant accounts.
→ There was a good reason they were dormant.

As a salesperson, I had to draw on my hunting skills:
→ That’s an innate quality of BDR’s

Salespeople need to embrace the BDR mentality:
→ Hunting mentality.
→ Building your business from hunting.
→ Discipline.
→ Becoming a hunter/farmer.
→ Continuous learning.
→ Role playing.
→ Mastering your craft.

Imagine having a team that
→ Tirelessly digs for gold.
→ Finds leads that could turn into big opportunities.
→ BDRs do this every day.

What sales manager wouldn’t want frontline soldiers:
→ Creating ‘at bats.’
→ Executing demand gen strategies.
→ Strong whitespacing/prospecting skills.

By incorporating these qualities, sales teams can:
→ Constantly develop new relationships.
→ Create more pipeline.
→ Build a healthy business.
